I paint on gessoed masonite and use simple metal frames so pieces are ready to hang. Unlike other traditional oil painters, I paint a warm, off-white mat around most of my images. The size of that mat varies and will be noted in each painting description. If there isn't a notation, then the image is painted to the edge of the board.
